Across The Road

This was across the road from my fog photo a couple days ago. The fog was hanging over the mountains on both sides of the road. The old barn was too much in the shadows so I tried lightening it up but it didn't turn out as well as I hoped. Any suggestions?

Fog in Camas Valley

This is another photo taken while on the way to the coast Wednesday. This was shot close to a little community called Camas Valley. I loved how the fog was hanging low over the mountains.

The patches of bare ground on the mountain is from logging. Although this looks strange to visitors most Oregonians don't mind the look. To us, the trees are a crop. Loggers plant, reap the crop and replant, not unlike a farmer.

Perfect Balance

This was taken in Bandon Oregon. I couldn't have placed this gull any better if he/she had let me pose him/her.

The Face

A friend and I drove over to the coast today, a two hour drive. This is a barn we discovered along the way. Doesn't it look like it has a face? :)

Country Roads - Day Two

Another scene from my drive in the country yesterday. This old barn sits near a local produce stand. I thought the contrast of the watered crops to the dried field was interesting.

Corn Field

We finally had a few clouds so I could get out and shoot without that blasted sun glaring down. I hit some country roads and found a beautiful corn field.

Fire On The Mountain

This sunset was so brillient it looked like the mountain was on fire.

I'm trying out the new beta version of Blogger. I like the look of this but I can't get into the HTML editor to add my links to other Bloggers. A project for this weekend. I REALLY like the new Dashboard. Its much easier to use and you have a lot more options. It seems faster to upload photos too.

I got really brave and asked this guy if I could take his picture. He is too much in shadow, I know but it was the best I could do without asking him to move his easel into the light :)

Good Catch

Technically this photo sucks because the lights are so blown out, but I thought the size of the fish was worth seeing.
