It's never to late to learn music. That was proved by the Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble’s “Roaring Chorus!” a free class that offers music instruction for up to 30 senior Staten Islanders. The West New Brighton Library Presents "The Roaring Chorus!" in a concert and reception at the Richmond Town Library. Orchestrated by MCCE's Artistic Director Tamara Keshecki on flute, Elizabeth McCullough, soprano; Joseph Kubera, piano and J.Brunks on bass. I arrived with a black suit but I guess they thought I looked too much like an undertaker so they quickly gave me something colorful and a prop for "Singing In The Rain" The room was packed, the music was good and we got a standing ovation.
