Shooting Kittens

Today I did a kitten photo shoot and it was so much fun. A friend found herself with a litter of kitties and she needs to find homes for them. She decided a good way to find them homes would be to have photos of the kittens when she asked people if they wanted a one. How could anyone possibly resist these cuties?

This is the shoot that resulted. I tried hard to chose just a few of my favorites to post here but it was impossible to chose less than these seven. So here is your warning... cute kitten overload coming your way.

The Herd and The Flock

Today I drove to a little town about 50 miles from here to have lunch with my sisters and a cousin I hadn't seen for about 25 years. We had a great lunch and a great visit. The town, Myrtle Point, is where I hung out in my teenage years and where I completed high school. Of course I snapped pictures all the way there and back. Here is the first. I probably have a weeks worth.

Those are sheep in the back pasture.

This mother cheetah was carefully watching over her babies.


I would watch carefully too if I had this precious bunch of kitties.
