Heron in Wetlands

This heron is wounded but I didn’t notice it until I downloaded the photos. Poor baby. I hope it heals quickly.

Scrapy Heron

I'm used to seeing herons looking sleek, prim and proper. I guess beach herons look more like beach bums... a bit scrapy and wind blown.
