This was taken at Smith Rock Park in Eastern Oregon. A storm was rapidly approaching so I snapped a few shots just before the rain hit, then I ran for the car.

...and another Rose After The Rain...

I just got home after 3 loooong days of workshops. I heard some great and inspirational speakers and learned of some new and inovative ideas for social services. I am newly enthusiastic but tired so at the risk of boring you with the same subject, I'm going to post one more rose and get to bed.

What I Found on The Beach - A Wet Feather

I walked along the beach and rather than take my usual photos of the ocean, the waves, the ocean birds, the skys... I looked down and took photos of the common things I saw lying on the sand.

This feather was the first thing I shot. I noticed the water drops on it but until I got home and edited it I didn't notice how the water drops magnified parts of the feather.

For the next few days I'll show you the interesting things I found on the beach.

Rose in Rain

A change of pace.

I went to the coast today and the weather was wonderfully cool! It even sprinkled a bit :) I went to Shore Acres Botanical Gardens and the flowers were beautiful.

I'm not sure how this came out with a black background but I like it. It came this way from the camera.
