www.SIAMSmusic.BlogSpot.com

Lately I have been practicing and performing with the Staten Island Acoustic Musicians Society (SIAMS).
I strongly believe that the world would be a much better place if more people spent more time learning, playing or at least listening to live music.  Robert Landsman is the coordinator. Some of us will be at the 3rd Annual Westerleigh Folk Festival today. Our next  full show will be at Every Thing Goes Cafe

I will be playing along with Yuuki Koike (on flute and sax) at the opening reception of the UNIQUE VISIONS WORKSHOP'S 12th Anual Exhibit.  I am the guest artist and will  have work on display.  Connections XII is curated by Ross and Katherine Wagner and is located at.
Watchung Arts Center, 18 Stirling Road (on the circle) Watchung, New Jersey, 07069. Call 908.753.0190 for more info.
The opening is from 1-4 pm on October 3, 2010.

www.SouthFinGrill.com

I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived for the ceremony in South Beach, Staten island.  The setting was more than lovely, it reminded me of the many weddings I shoot in Florida, palm trees and everything!  We are of course part of New York City but we are in fact an island onto our selves. http://www.vanderbiltsouthbeach.com/ and http://www.southfingrill.com/ took care of all the arrangements.  The happy couple Michelle and Tom were glowing.  They were so much fun to photograph,  I naturally loved every second of it.
